‘Jeopardy!' champ from Arlington Heights charged with child sex assault

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A “Jeopardy!” contestant from the northwest suburbs will stand trial in Wisconsin on child sex assault charges.

Jerome Slowik, 28, of Arlington Heights was charged in Walworth County, Wis., according to the Chicago Tribune. The charges were filed last April.

He pleaded not guilty in May.

Slowik won more than $120,000 during his appearances on the quiz show.
