Posted: Updated:

Three boys from Council Rock South High School died over the weekend when their SUV overturned.

Their tragic death has rocked the community as students head back to classes this week.

Fox 29's Lauren Johnson was live outside the school where everyone is banding together.

Somber students showed up at school, days early to grieve.

"It's awesome they can do this for us," said one student.

Administrators at Council Rock High School South, are making changes days before school is set to start, to help students cope with the tragedy.

"I think we just want to be here, we want to comfort and gather and just to start unfolding that grieving process today," said Principal Al Funk.

Sadness surrounded the deaths of the three sophomore students who died in an auto accident, Saturday.

"Three bright lights. Three tremendous individuals. Who shared their gifts and talents with council rock high school south, those bright lights were extinguished way too soon," Funk added.

The students were identified as Cullen Keffer, Ryan Lesher, and Shamus Digney.

"Student athletes, academically high achievers, great families, just a tremendous loss," said Funk.

"Today, we are not going to tell kids it's going to be alright because it's not going to be alright," said Superintendent Mark Klein.

15 year old Olivia Ploppert says it will get better, thanks to counselors who care.

"Just to let everything out, don't hold it in cause that will just make it worse," she said.
