Mechanical problems cause delays on Metra BNSF line

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Trains were operating behind schedule Monday morning after mechanical problems on Metra's BNSF line.

Inbound and outbound trains between Aurora and Chicago were operating 10 to 20 minutes behind schedule, according to Metra's website.

Train #1371, scheduled to depart Chicago at 7:20 a.m., did not operate due to mechanical problems, according to Metra.

Passengers should check Metra's website for details.
