MESA, Ariz. - Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information about a suspect involved in a vehicle burglary.

Officers say the suspect broke into a car at the Children's Safari Learning Center, near Southern and Sossaman in Mesa, and stole a purse out of the vehicle.  On the same day, a second purse, as well as a checkbook, were stolen during a car break-in at Countryside Park near Southern and Lindsay.

Police say the female suspect, described as a white female with black hair, was driving a white newer-model Ford Edge.  She was seen on surveillance video trying to cash one of the stolen checks at the True West Credit Union near 50th Street and Roosevelt in Phoenix.
