NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - TV host Wendy Williams can soon check off another item on her bucket list.

The larger than life star from New Jersey and host of the Wendy Williams show is taking her act to Las Vegas.

"Wendy like you’ve never seen her before," said Williams about her one-woman show.

While she wouldn't share any of her jokes during Good Day NY on Monday saying they're "too blue." She is incorporating turning 50 on July 18.

"Real life situations that I can now at 50 look at with humor. On Saturday, afternoon I’m hosting the pool party at Tao. I’m wearing a bikini. I might not ever wear one again. I’m the best Wendy I’ve ever been in mind, body and soul," said Williams.

While admitting your age is taboo for many entertainers, Williams has a different outlook.

“I embrace it because if I don’t someone else will; and usually things you lie about are things you are embarrassed about. It’s also a station in life. You reevaluate your life. You look at your peers. I'm in great company- Vanessa Williams, Demi Moore- these are fantastic looking, youthful women. 50 is not the last it’s the beginning of everything new," said Williams.

The key to looking forward to aging is preparation.

"You start losing your weight slowly, changing your moisturizers," added Williams.

Williams will be taking the stage on Friday, July 11 at The Venetian in Las Vegas.
