2-alarm fire displaces 7 DeKalb families

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Seven families were displaced after an overnight fire at a DeKalb County apartment complex.

The fire happened around 4 a.m. at the Landmark at Mountain View Apartments in the 4800 block of Brown Bark Cove in Stone Mountain.

It took firefighters nearly 30 minutes to put out the two-alarm fire. Residents said smoke could be seen for miles.

No one was injured.

DeKalb County fire investigators are now trying to determine the cause of the fire.
