And beyond the fireworks, there are a ton of festivals going on this weekend!

Let's start on the North Side with the Taste of Lakeview! The festival runs Saturday and Sunday near Lincoln and Belmont avenues. You can eat your way around an entire neighborhood in just a few hours. There is only a suggested $5 donation.

And you can't forget the Riverwest Music Festival! It runs Friday through Sunday on Elston Avenue near Division Street. The festival is a brand new electronic dance music festival! Tickets are kind of pricey at $70 for one day and $170 for the whole weekend.

And the 22nd annual International Festival of Life starts Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Union Park! The four day festival celebrates African and Caribbean cultures and features music, dance, fashion, and food. The festival continues Friday through Sunday from noon until 10 p.m. Single day tickets are $15 to $20 and a four-day pass starts at $55.

And finally we have Windy City RibFest! The Uptown festival runs Friday through Sunday and will have lots of finger-licking good options. There is a $5 suggested donation or a $40 food and drink package.
