Police: flasher targets women grocery shopping in Peachtree City

Posted: Updated:
PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -

Police say a man has been exposing himself to women at a Kroger in Peachtree City targeting a specific kind of victim.

Peachtree City Police say a flasher is targeting women while they grocery shop.

Authorities say the man exposed himself to a woman at the Kedron Village Shopping Center and they’re hoping surveillance pictures seen in the video above will help stop him.

Investigators say the flasher exposed himself in broad daylight while he was sitting in his car, but just before the indecent act the man was caught on-camera inside the store. Authorities think he had letters on his shirt that read “Riverside Military Academy.”

Shoppers who didn’t want to go on camera tell FOX 5 the whole thing gives them the creeps. Police hope someone recognizes something about the man in the surveillance pictures to give investigators the tip they need.

Authorities say the flasher is a younger black male. If you have any information you are asked to contact the Peachtree City Police Department.
