Memphis Soul legend Mabon "Teenie" Hodges passed away Sunday evening from complications of emphysema. He was 68.

Hodges was known for writing and co-writing and playing on a number of Al Green songs including "L-O-V-E (Love)," "Here I Am," "L-O-V-E (Love)," "Love and Happiness" and "Take Me to the River."
