SOUTHFIELD (WJBK) -- "Caring is sharing." It's a simple message from a young brother-sister pair working to help local homeless families.
Robby and Emma Eimers do chores in the community to earn money. They use their money to buy food, clothes and other necessities for local homeless shelters.
The pair heads The EiEimersoundation, which was started in 2013 when Robby noticed homeless people on the streets while on a drive with his family.
On Thursday, 12-year old Robby and 8-year-old Emma will receive a Champion Award at the Neighborhood Service Organization's Life Awards.
