The shelter is still dealing with an outbreak of the deadly parvovirus. So far, MAS says fourteen dogs have gotten the virus.

The shelter is open and accepting dogs, but all off site adoptions and spay and neuter surgeries have been canceled.

The virus caused the shelter to shut down over the weekend. It reopened Tuesday after being quarantined.
