Body of missing Warren woman likely found, new charge against husband

Posted: Updated:
WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) - Officials in Macomb County believe the body of a missing woman from Warren has been discovered in Cheboygan County.

Kimberly Dejohn, 51, was last seen May 14.

Police had said 46-year-old Loyd Dejohn told them he last saw his wife when she left home following a fight that day. He's jailed after being arraigned on May 30 for aggravated domestic violence. Dejohn is also charged with assault to do great bodily harm less than murder, which was added Thursday.

His attorney withdrew and he was assigned a court appointed attorney.

Authorities say cadaver dogs found a body in Koehler Township in an area off M-68 about 5 miles east of Interstate 75 exit 310, which is the Roger City exit.
