The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who shoved a dog out of an SUV in Coram, N.Y.
A witness saw a blue SUV stopping on Sun Valley Drive on Thursday, June 12. The passenger side door opened and a man shoved out a small white dog, the SPCA said.
Chief Roy Gross called the act "cowardly."
Authorities found the dog sitting on the curb.
