PREVIOUS VERSION:
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A jury has started deliberating whether to sentence a Memphis man to death for killing his girlfriend and her parents more than two years ago.

Deliberations began Sunday afternoon after the conclusion of a sentencing hearing for 31-year-old Sedrick Clayton.

A 12 person jury on Saturday convicted Clayton of first-degree murder in the fatal shootings of 23-year-old Pashea Fisher and her parents in the Fishers' home on Jan. 19, 2012.

The same jury will decide whether Clayton should receive a sentence of life in prison, life in prison without parole or death.
