LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor and the two ex-congressmen running for Arkansas governor are among the speakers slated to appear at the second day of the Delta Grassroots Caucus conference.
The caucus planned to hear from candidates and other officials Friday about issues related to the Delta. Pryor is facing a re-election challenge from Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton.
Democratic gubernatorial nominee Mike Ross and Republican nominee Asa Hutchinson were also expected to appear before the group.
Other speakers expected Friday include French Hill, the Republican nominee for the 2nd Congressional District, and state Rep. Bruce Westerman, the GOP nominee for the 4th Congressional District. Jackie McPherson, the Democratic nominee for the 1st Congressional District, was also scheduled to appear.
