WASHINGTON (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton says she wishes Monica Lewinsky "well" but the affair involving her husband is not something she thinks about.

Clinton says in an ABC News interview that she dealt with it at the time and she has "moved on."

The former secretary of state and first lady says if she could say anything to Lewinsky, she would "wish her well." She says she hopes Lewinsky is "about to think about her life" and find meaning and satisfaction in her life.

Vanity Fair magazine published a first-person account last month from Lewinsky in which she said former President Bill Clinton "took advantage" of her, but that their affair was consensual.

Clinton says it's "not something that I spend a lot of time thinking about."

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.

Heavy thunderstorms swept through the tri-state on Sunday causing flash floods and lightning strikes that injured 3 people. The three men were struck at Orchard Beach in the Bronx Sunday afternoon and were being treated at a local hospital. Meanwhile, various Labor Day weekend celebrations were interrupted, delayed and even canceled as the U.S. Open tennis tournament had to be postponed and the Electric Zoo musical festival on Randall's Island had to be prematurely shut down.
