Dozens of Newton County parents are furious after a dance company shut down without warning.
Parents are trying to find out if there is a legal way for them to get their money back after the Starband Dance Company closed.
Dance students had been practicing for months for a big recital in May, but it was canceled when the owner unexpectedly closed the studio.
The studio has reopened, but parents say they doubt they are going to get their money back from the old owner who reportedly left town.
Several parents filed criminal complaints with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.
