Pitbull and deer form unlikely friendship

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

An unlikely friendship between a pitbull named Zeke and a deer in Austin, Texas has gone viral.

It all started a couple of weeks ago when Zeke's owner's caught the little guy playing hide and seek along the fence with one of the many neighborhood deer.

The five-year-old pit bull mix was recently adopted from an animal shelter.

And in a short time, Zeke managed to turn his new neighborhood into a deer-friendly area.

The woman who filmed the video told us she was very astonished. "I watched him for a little bit before it even occurred to me that it had my cell phone in my hand. So at that point it just started filming" she said.

Zeke’s owners hope the video, called "dances with deer" will give people a positive view of pit bulls.
