Atlanta police hope new surveillance video can help lead them to a group of smash-and-grab burglars.
According to Atlanta police, officers responded to a call regarding the burglary on April 25 at 3:10 a.m.
The thieves used a church van to smash through the front glass of City Gear on Headland Drive in southwest Atlanta. Police say the van was stolen from the International Ministries 2000 Church on County Line Road.
In the surveillance video, you can see them throwing merchandise into the van.
Investigators are looking into whether this crime is connected to a pawn shop theft which occurred that same day in Habersham County. Approximately 20 firearms were taken, according to the Habersham County Sheriff's Office.
The same van with the words "International Ministries 2000" on the sides was used in the pawn shop robbery.
Police later found the van abandoned on Campbell Road.
