PHOENIX - MCSO had two weeks to get thousands of signatures from sheriff's employees and volunteers. All of them had to read the judge's racial profiling ruling against MCSO.

"I am sorry you have to do this. I wish we did not have to waste our time doing this, but it is a necessary evil to fix this," said Chief Deputy Jerry Sheridan.

This is the video that sparked this, MCSO supposed to be training staff on how to avoid racial profiling instead a federal court judge found Arpaio and his top people were mis-characterizing his ruling that found MCSO racially profiled Latinos.

"This judge put the same constraints on us that a federal judge did with the City of New Orleans Police Department and their officers were murdering people. That is how ludicrous this crap is," said Sheridan.

Judge Murray Snow ordered Arpaio to summarize the racial profiling ruling and give that summary to every MCSO employee and volunteer. The judge gave MCSO two weeks to get signatures from everyone vowing they'd read the summary.

MCSO showed us the thousands of signatures they've gotten so far. Sheriff Arpaio and his wife Ava signing too, she's a volunteer posse member.

Attorneys say out of the 3.450 paid MCSO employees who aren't on leave only six haven't signed, and they cannot come back to work until they do. Attorneys also say 80 percent of volunteer posse members have signed, and those who haven't can't volunteer.

Still it's up to a court appointed monitor and the judge to decide if Arpaio followed the rules this time.

It's up to a judge to decide if MCSO is in compliance.

The hearing is at 10am, Wednesday, and it's unclear whether the judge ordered Arpaio to be there. His attorneys tell FOX 10 that Arpaio will not be at the hearing because he's in California.
