Heavy Rainfall Leads To Flooding Conditions in Camden County

Posted: Updated:
CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. -

Camden County Emergency managers are hard at work, clearing storm drains across the Camden County.

"The streets getting flooded that don't usually get flooded because of the tremendous amount of rain we got," said Keith Walker with the Office of Emergency Management.

Good Samaritans have been helping stranded motorists all day long.

"You don't know how many times I’ve been over there pushing cars out," said Murtaza Gurcanly.

So much rain in such a little time was just too much for storm drains to handle. Just ask Pat Keaton whose seen it all.

"I’ve been with the city since 1972, and this is one of the worst that I’ve seen," said Pat Keaton with the Office of Emergency Management.
