Bellaire, OH- Wounded soldiers in Ohio returning home from war can now enjoy one of their favorite activities.
Leek Hunting and Mountain Reserve in Pennsylvania uses special all-terrain wheelchairs to help disabled veterans go hunting.
An up-right chair can cost a little more than $18,000, but the VFW Post 626 in Bellaire knew they could raise the money to help veterans.
They teamed up with the Belmont County Commissioners' office and local pub owner, Matt Coffland, to hold a fundraiser.
They were able to raise more than $30,000, and bought two all-terrain wheel chairs.
The chairs are designed to go all over the 256 acres of the Leek Reserve where the veterans can hunt anything from deer to turkeys to bears.
You may think you've got your dog trained. But when was the last time you got a helping – mouth – carrying in the groceries?
