North American International Banjo Convention April 25, 26

Posted: Updated:
DEARBORN, Mich. (WJBK) - A comedian once said the banjo is such a happy instrument, you can't play a sad song on it because it always comes out sounding cheerful.

What better way to find out than checking out the North American International Banjo Convention in Dearborn this weekend.

The convention is April 25 and 26 at the Double Tree Hotel on Ford Road at the Southfield Freeway. Musicians from all over the country will be jamming in all parts of the hotel.

Shows begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a special matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m.
