It's Tax Day.

Local post offices no longer stay open late and people no longer line up to turn in their taxes. Back in the day, post offices used to bustle with activity on April 15, when many people would file their taxes up until a midnight deadline.

Fox 2 dug up this report from 15 years ago. Fox 2's Robin Schwartz gives us a glimpse of what Tax Day was like in 1999.

    The Trio Animal Foundation in Chicago has been busy with their fair share of animal abuse cases. Recently, workers say they retrieved a terribly matted and urine soaked dog from an open access shelter. According to the workers, the dog’s fur was so terribly groomed; they were unsure which side was the face at first.
