SCSO makes arrest in sexual assault, felony drug, weapons charges

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -

Tonight a husband and wife are behind bars on a long list of charges.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office arrested Darrell Randolph and Monique Polk.

Randolph was wanted for several sexual assaults.

He was found by the Fugitive Apprehension Team at a house in the 4800 block of Coral Creek.

When deputies searched the house they found 27 grams of pot and 13-thousand dollars.

Deputies also searched an address where the alleged sexual assaults happened.

They found more than 650 grams of crack cocaine, more than 800 grams of powder cocaine, 31 grams of heroin and more marijuana.

Randolph is now charged with statutory rape, sexual battery and several drug charges.

He is being held on one million dollars bond.

Monique Polk is facing drug charges.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Special Victims Unit issued an arrest warrant for Darrell Randolph, 43, wanted for multiple sexual assaults and assault related offenses. 

He was located and served by the Fugitive Apprehension Team at an address on the 4800 block of Coral Creek. A search of the residence revealed (27) grams of marijuana and $13,000 dollars which were seized along with over $5400.00 from a bank account. 

Monique Polk, 32, who is the wife of Darrell Randolph, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled substance with intent and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

On 3/7/2014, Sheriff's Detectives also served a search warrant in the 7100 block of Market Square. This is the location where some of the sexual assaults allegedly took place and it was processed as part of the original crime scene with a search warrant. 

While conducting that search, detectives located drugs and other paraphernalia. Overall detectives seized 654.8 grams of crack cocaine, 823.8 grams of powder cocaine, 31.46 grams of heroin, 105.7 grams of marijuana, a pistol and (2) vehicles were seized. Randolph admitted owning all the drugs and the gun that were recovered. 

On March 10, 2014, He was additionally charged with numerous Felony Drug and Weapons charges and is currently being held on TWO separate $1,000,000.00 bonds, one for the sexual assaults and the other for the drugs.
