FRAYSER, Tenn. (FOX13) -

A Shelby County Health Department spokesperson said they are investigating a potential tuberculosis case at Frayser High School.

A spokesperson told FOX13 News those who had the greatest degree of contact will be tested.

This is has been their protocol for years whenever there is a potential TB outbreak.

No other school is being investigated at this time.

The Shelby County Health Department offers free services at their TB clinic. Patients there do not have to pay for x-rays, blood work or medications; medications are delivered to the patients as well.

According to the county health department in 2013, TB cases in the county decreased from 64 in 2009 to 57 in 2012. TB cases, though, increased to 2011 to 49.
