The Vamps perform 'Wild Heart'

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Move over One Direction, another British boy band is stealing the limelight.

The Vamps are coming off a tour with Taylor Swift.

Before they hit the road again later this year for their own tour, the group-- James McVey, Brad Simpson, Tristan Evans and Connor Ball-- took a minute out of their busy schedules to visit Good Day New York.

The teens (they're between 17 and 19 years old) talked about how they got together and what their fast rise to fame feels like.

"I was the first band member. I wanted to make a band and I saw video of Brad singing an Ed Sheeran cover—I didn’t know who he was— he joined the band a couple weeks later and we all found Connor on YouTube," said McVey. He also tapped his friend, Tristan Evans, to join the group.

The Vamps have a hit single called, "Wild Heart."

"It’s a feel good song and about feeling in the moment," said Simpson.

The Vamps will be touring in the fall. Tickets go on sale in April.
