Parents are angry and upset after Shelby County Schools didn't close this morning due to icy conditions. We've been getting calls about this all morning.

Here is what you are saying on the MyFOXMemphis Facebook page:

TESHA SAYS, "I wasn't fired up until I saw all the accidents and realized how bad it was. They should close immediately. Otherwise mine are going home with me at noon. I pull rank over SCS as it relates to my children and their safety."

ANYA SAYS, "Our main concern is about our children, the fact that this messed up our school system would show enough concern to close for the day and use days that are provided for situations of this matter. Apparently you have your priorities confused. If you haven't notice roads are getting worst not better.... Did my children go to school today NO but now they are going to have a day counted against them do to the SCS ignorance...."
