Mid-South (FOX13) -

Winter is here but parts of the Mid-South are expecting another round of possible snow and ice.

Already this morning Tate County Mississippi is letting students out at 1 p.m. in anticipation of what could happen.

Right now the roads outside are clear but as you go to pick up your kids today from school, or drive home from work, you may see snow.

Eastern Arkansas and northern Mississippi will be under a winter storm watch starting today at 3 p.m. That watch runs until noon on Tuesday. These counties could see up to three inches of snow!

Shelby and other Tennessee counties are only expecting at maximum of an inch of snow with this latest round of winter weather. But the further south you go the better chances are for snow.
