BATAVIA, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police in west suburban Batavia are searching for a man spotted driving while his genitals were exposed Friday afternoon.

Police responded to the intersection of Hapner Way and Wade Lane about 12:05 p.m., where a 24-year-old woman told officers she saw a man in another vehicle driving with his genitals exposed, police said in a release.

He is described as a white man in his early 40s, wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses, the release said. He was driving an older white sedan.

Grace McWayne Elementary School is located near that intersection.

However, police do not believe children were intended targets in the incident, the release said. No other similar incidents in the area have been reported to police.

Officers could not locate the man or his vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at (630) 454-2500.
