BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A Buffalo-area man has pleaded guilty to charges he stole more than $12,000 worth of oxycodone and other drugs by cutting a hole in the roof of a western New York pharmacy.

WIVB-TV reports that 47-year-old Michael Codelia of Amherst pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute drugs.

Federal prosecutors say he and two other men broke into the Middleport Family Health Center in August 2012 and stole $12,500 worth of amphetamine, oxycodone, morphine, hydrocodone, codeine and other drugs.

Codelia was arrested two days later. Police say his two accomplices fled to Oregon, where they were arrested in November 2012. One has already been convicted and charges against the other are pending.

Codelia pleaded guilty last Friday. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
