DUNWOODY, Ga. -

Crews battled a two-alarm apartment fire in Dunwoody on Thursday night.

The blaze is in the 2400 block of Dunwoody Crossing. At least eight of 18 units were reportedly destroyed by the fire.

Firefighters said the building was fully engulfed when they arrived. The cold weather made conditions difficult for the firefighters, but they were able to put most of the blaze out by 11 p.m.

There were no injuries to any firefighters; one occupant suffered some sort of medical situation, according to Captain Eric Jackson of the DeKalb County Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
