Chipper Jones accidentally starts fire behind yard

ATLANTA -

Retired Atlanta Braves great Chipper Jones accidentally started a fire in the woods behind in Roswell home on Thursday.

Jones wrote on Twitter that he cleaned out the fireplace, dumped the ashes out in the woods and that's when the fire started.

A neighbor also called 911 after spotting the flames.

On Twitter, Chipper thanked the Roswell Fire Department and his neighbors for checking on his family.
