Kid With Terminal Cancer Feeds The Homeless

Posted: Updated:

Imagine you're ten-years-old and you have terminal cancer. What would you want to do? How about feed the homeless?

That is what Keegan Keppner did. It was one of the things on his bucket list, and Sunday morning, he achieved that dream.

Keppner, with help from his stepfather, fed breakfast to homeless protesters who have to move this coming week. Keegan has a terminal form of Glioma, a cancerous tumor that affects the brain and spine. He says he feels bad for the homeless.

"Meeting the homeless and making them happy," he said. "I just feel bad for the people becoming homeless and I don't want any more of them to become homeless."

The homeless were very thankful of this.

"Very, very beautiful. Thank you young man," said one.

"Can I have a big hug? ‘Thank you, buddy,'" said another.

"You're welcome," Keppner replied, as he gave the man a hug.

"You made some people's day. You made a lot of people's day," said a third.

Keegan also suffers from hydrocephalus, a condition in which cerebrospinal fluid fills the brain.

He and his stepfather plan to continue to feed the homeless on tomorrow when they say they will return with chili.
