Plymouth Ice Festival underway

PLYMOUTH, Mich. (WJBK) -

The sounds of chainsaws could be heard in downtown Plymouth Saturday as artists created some amazing sculptures from blocks of ice.

The annual ice festival runs through Sunday, Jan. 12. Here's some of what's in store:

DTE Energy Hot Spot Warming Tent
Warm up in style at the Hot Spot Warming Tent under the Gathering directly across from Kellogg Park.  The Hot Spot features over 20 local vendors and businesses, product demonstrations, a sitting area to take a load off your feet and (most importantly) lots of heat!  The Hot Spot Warming Tent is open during all the official open hours of the event.

Amazing Wintertime Festival Food
Enjoy festival favorites like elephant ears, popcorn, roasted almonds and hot chocolate. All food sales on-site can be enjoyed in the warmth of the DTE Energy Hot Spot - tables and chairs are provided all weekend long...!
