NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) - A power line fell onto a New Jersey Transit train just west of Newark Tuesday evening, according to MyFoxNY.com's Luke Funk, who was on board the train.

The conductor announced that passengers would be moved onto another train after the power line, which was wrapped around one car, was safely removed, Funk reported. The power line was covering two westbound tracks, but other trains did pass by while his train was stuck.

The train was the 5:45 p.m. express from New York City to New Brunswick. Carrying about a thousand passengers, it left Manhattan at about 6 p.m.

The train finally began being backed into Newark Penn Station at around 8 p.m. after crews removed the wire, Funk reported.

There was confusion at the Newark station after passengers were sent to meet trains that were not stopping at stops from the interrupted trip.

The Northeast Corridor, New Jersey Coast, and Raritan Valley lines are delayed up to 30 minutes in both directions, according to NJ Transit.

A spokesperson for NJ Transit said it is too early to tell if the incident is related to the cold weather.

Burger chain Five Guys is testing the adage that everything tastes better with bacon. It is rolling out a customizable milkshake program and along with bananas, peanut butter, Oreo cookies, salted caramel, you can chose bacon.  Yes that's right: a bacon milkshake.

Like most soon-to-be third graders, Sonja knows what she's looking for when it comes to back-to-school shopping. For kids trying to be fashionable -- and parents looking to keep it affordable -- there's the Ocean County Hunger Relief Warehouse in Toms River, New Jersey. It's basically a huge thrift shop.
