MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

UPDATE: Wrestling star Jerry "The King" Lawler was discharged Monday evening from a Baltimore hospital.

Appearing on the WWE website in a video, Lawler explained he and his girlfriend had some lunch Monday, after which the wrestling king became ill.

Lawler said tests were done, which determined, according to him, that he had "a little stomach bug."

Several wrestling media outlets are reporting that wrestler Jerry "The King" Lawler of Memphis has been hospitalized.

Lawler is in Baltimore for Monday evening's Old School RAW event. He was taken to a Baltimore area hospital after experiencing chest pains.

In September 2012 Lawler suffered a heart attack during a live WWE broadcast in Montreal, Canada.
