Thousands of Target cards not activated

Posted: Updated:

Retail giant Target has another problem this holiday shopping season. Completely separate from the data breach, thousands of gift cards sold over the holidays weren't properly activated, according to MyFoxTwinCities.com.

The recent data breach soured the holiday spirit for some 40 million credit and debit card holders who shopped at Target between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15, but now, some gift card recipients are also rankled after finding out their present was worth about as much as lump of coal at the register.
