SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. (FOX13) -

A recent video released by the company that operates Memphis' red light cameras shows they are catching more than just cars running red lights.

The YouTube-posted video from American Traffic Solutions shows Memphis drivers at their worst, plowing through intersections and putting lives at risk.

The red light infractions are from various dates in 2013, the most recent Dec. 2 at the intersection of Germantown Parkway and Trinity Road in Cordova.

The city of Memphis started the red light program in November of 2009 and netted more than $700,000 in revenue during the first year.

According to American Traffic Solutions, the red light cameras have actually been used to investigate more than 50 other crimes. ATS also notes that Friday is worst day for red light offenders, especially between the hours of 3 and 4 p.m.
