Fans of the Auburn Tigers hope it feels like a home game for their team, as the school is just a few hours from Atlanta. Missouri fans had a longer hike to make: about 11 hours. Winter weather in the Midwest didn't make things easier.

The city estimates that about 170,000 fans will be in Atlanta this weekend for various events, including the game. Fewer football fans were apparent downtown on the night before the big contest.

Ticket prices are also down compared to last year. SeatGeek.com said the average price of a ticket this year is about $276; last year's tickets were going for $370. The 2012 game was because the University of Georgia and Alabama.
