GQ names Christie 'Boss of the Year'

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Men's magazine GQ is out with its list of the men, women and events that made 2013 memorable.

Among the 'men of the year' is NJ Gov. Chris Christie.

The potential Republican presidential candidate was also dubbed the 'Boss of the Year 2013.'

The magazine said Christie might be the only politican in America who had a good year.

He is credited with pushing for federal funds for New Jersey residents following superstorm Sandy.

He also may be the only politician to master the art of the "selfie" writes the magazine:

"On the boardwalk, a nervous husband fumbled with his wife's iPhone as he tried to snap a picture of her and the governor. Okay, here we go,” he said, holding the phone in his other hand. The husband reached for it, and Christie snatched it back."

Also on the Men of the Year 2013 list, were Justin Timberlake, Michael Douglas and the late James Gandolfini.
