Organizers with World AIDS day Detroit are hosting several events this week.

There's a mayor's breakfast Friday at The Fillmore Theater. Special guest and AIDS activist Kimberly Locke from American Idol will be present.

Fox 2's Amy Andrews will the emcee for the breakfast.

The breakfast runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tickets are required.
