Firefighters save man during Marietta's Gobble Jog

Posted: Updated:
MARIETTA, Ga. -

Two Marietta firefighters are being hailed as heroes after saving a man's life during the annual Gobble Jog on Thanksgiving Day.

Dave Hardin and Jeff Menard modestly say it was all part of the job, but one man who went into full cardiac arrest during the race is lucky they were in the right place at the right time.

Hardin and Menard were at the Gobble Jog when the man collapsed, and they jumped in to help.  An ambulance rushed the man to the hospital, and he's now recovering.
