(WJBK) -

Eastern Michigan University says police have arrested two people in the fatal shooting of football player Demarius Reed at an off-campus apartment complex.

Both will face murder and robbery charges for Reed's Oct. 18th death. Reed was found shot to death in a hallway at the University Green Apartments.

Kristopher Pratt, 19, and Ed Thomas, 20, have been charged in connection with the crime. Thomas was arraigned on open murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Pratt faces the same charges plus others that stem from an unrelated armed robbery. Fox 2's Randy Wimbley reports Pratt will be arraigned on Tuesday.
