FERNDALE, Mich. (WJBK) -

A third suspect is under arrest in connection with home invasion and convenience store armed robbery.

Detroit police apprehended Taurus Richardson without incident during a traffic stop around 1 a.m. Thursday.

He and two others, Jalen Turner, 18, and Gerald Turner, 29, are accused of using a toy gun to rob a 7-Eleven store earlier this week. Lt. William Wilson of Ferndale police says the suspects took cash from the register, lottery tickets and cigarettes.

They then led police on a chase in a stolen car before crashing and attempting to flea the scene.
