A video clip from a new video game shows an armed man breaking into Sandy Hook Elementary School and walking through the halls. He then busts down the classroom doors. We're not showing you any more than that.
Next month is the first anniversary of Adam Lanza's rampage that claimed the lives of 20 children and six educators at Sandy Hook in Newtown, Conn.
The creator of the video game lives in Sydney, Australia. He says he wants the video game to raise awareness about the need for stricter gun laws in the United States.
The family of Victoria Soto is outraged. She is the teacher who died while protecting her students. The family issued a statement: "we do not encourage this game, nor do we condone it. We only bring attention to it so that we can perhaps reach the maker and make him understand why his message was delivered in the most inappropriate way."
Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy called the video disgusting and disrespectful.
