Bloomingdale's holiday windows unveiled

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The evening started with a performance from the New York City Children's Choir. Beautiful, even haunting. The singing was held in the Bloomberg Rotunda across the street from Bloomingdale's, kicking off the unveiling of the famous holiday windows.

After the choir's gorgeous set was finished, on came Mr. Josh Groban. His set list included favorites like "The February Song."

Thousands showed up for the show. Cold, but huddled together for warmth, and smiling when he did a version of Charlie Chaplin's "Smile." No broken hearts here. Only warm ones.

After Josh's beautiful set, it was off to the main event. Behold, The windows of the world.

There's good cheer from China. Take a look at that dragon!

Festive greetings from France. Vive la France!

Merry moments from Italy. Magnifico!

Great gifts from Great Britian. God save the Queen!

And of course, bundles of joy from the Big Apple. Fuggedaboutit.

So, while I was sad the evening was over, I couldn't help but smile, knowing I got to see Josh Groban and the unveiling of the holiday windows at Bloomingdale's.

And that made me warm inside on a cold and windy night.
