Missing 7-year-old found safe in Phoenix

Phoenix Police are asking for the public's help to find a 7-year-old boy who was last seen Wednesday afternoon.

Vincente Alejandro Nava-Trevino, also known as Junior, was last seen by a neighbor around 1:30 p.m. outside of his home near Interstate 17 and Osborn Road.

Authorities say Junior is believed to have left the area on foot to an unknown destination.  The family has been unable to locate Junior with any of his known friends and is very concerned for his welfare at this time.

Junior is described as a Hispanic male, weighing 70 pounds and has short brown hair and brown eyes.

UPDATE: Vincente was found safe Wednesday night near 67th Avenue and Camelback at a family member's home.
