World Fastest Man Reveals Olympic Diet

Posted: Updated:

The world's fastest man is revealing his diet during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

In his new book, "Faster Than Lightning," Usain Bolt claims he lived on McDonald's chicken McNuggets.

The Jamaican Olympian says he ate 1,000 McNuggets over ten days. A 20-piece box was his usual meal.

And one time, he says that he ate two 20-piece boxes for breakfast, and ended it with some fries and an apple pie.

If bolt really ate 1,000 nuggets, then he would have ingested about 47,000 calories.

"I should have gotten a gold medal for all that chowing down," Bolt tells the New York Post.

Bolt won three gold medals during the Beijing Olympics. He has since won three more gold medals in London 2012 and even more medals at other world competitions.
