DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

A street rap session in the South Main arts district downtown that turned noise complaint Oct. 25 has some claiming that Memphis Police are overstepping their bounds.

Police responded to a noise complaint and wound up arresting two people for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

All throughout the incident, onlookers were taking video with their cellphones. Witnesses say that police officers were demanding that the memory cards on those phones be deleted.
